E. Frits Abell, Business Development/Strategy Guru
Frits is pathological about three things: his drive to start, and/or foster growth of, new initiatives—whether they be grassroots movements, social networks, or new businesses; his passion to work on a new, progressive, authentic and historic Buffalo (his hometown); and his love for connecting people (he’s a bonafide Yenta). He has helped found and build several companies in Boston and New York City over the past 18 years—which have included a digital media company, a business consultancy, and a boutique investment bank. Frits thrives on rolling up his sleeves and working in all aspects of business formation–from marketing, to corporate and business development, to operations. He and David collaborate on a number of social ventures under the rubric of Impact Industries (www.impact-industries.com).

Jesse Crouse, Managing Partner
Jesse has finally found a home after being a coffee nomad for the past decade. He has spent his time in Chicago, Ithaca and Santa Cruz before laying the groundwork in Buffalo for what has become Tipico Coffee. Jesse’s career has brought him across the globe in pursuit of clearer supply chains and better coffee. He now joins the team at Plume Coffee just in time to spread the word that Better Coffee, Better Day is the most true statement known to the human race.
